Counselling support for complex life experiences

Trauma-informed care grounded in safety and empowerment.

I am a trauma counsellor with a strong commitment to supporting women through complex life experiences. My work is grounded in feminist values of empowerment, inclusivity, and deep respect for each person’s lived experience.

I began my career in the homelessness and domestic and family violence sector, where I supported individuals navigating significant trauma and instability. This work shaped my understanding of the impact of trauma and strengthened my commitment to providing safe, compassionate, and empowering care.

I later moved into the women’s health sector in the NGO space, where I provided counselling for concerns including mental and physical health challenges, domestic and family violence, PTSD, and betrayal trauma.

My approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and client-centred. I draw on Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT tapping), mindfulness, and feminist frameworks, alongside strengths-based and solution-focused approaches.

Together, we approach your thoughts, emotions, and patterns with curiosity rather than judgement, always honouring your sense of safety, choice, and autonomy.

A trauma-informed approach recognises how past experiences can shape present-day wellbeing, and our work focuses on strengthening internal resources, building self-connection, and supporting nervous system regulation.

I am dedicated to creating a warm, non-judgemental, and validating space where women feel heard, supported, and empowered to move towards healing and meaningful change.
